Temple dome over Iraivan Sanctum

The Vimanam (temple dome) from course 16 to 34 sits above the temple sanctum. It requires 261 white granite stones of various sizes. Pictures below shows some of the ready-to-ship carved stones. Ornamentation work will be needed for certain courses while the rest are completed. The preliminary joining work will be tested in Bangalore. The Vimanam measures 16 feet 9 inches above the sanctum and 11 feet 7 and one quarter inches wide once completed. Gold veneering will be done for the top of the sanctum's outer dome stone. Visualize this tower againts the wettest spot on earth --Mt. Waialeale, just a few miles west where cascading waterfalls feed the Wailua River that runs by the south boundry of San Marga.
