Kumar Sinnadurai family (wife not in photo) is visiting Kauai for the first time from Edmonton, Canada. His parents recently visited with our sishyas Jai and Ganga Murugan. Kumar and his wife were the first marriage to be solemnized at the Mahaganapati Temple in Edmonton. Kumar recalls our late Gurudeva visiting his home when he was only age 16.

The whole monastery gathered yesterday afternoon as Sannyasin Senthilnathaswami gave everyone a tour of our Google Apps web space.

Our goal was to educate everyone today in the use of Google Calendar and Google docs which will help everyone in the coordination of our Sivathondu in serving the mission.

It was very useful and also great fun as the monks do no often gather as a one group like this.

Today we honored sage Chellappaswami with a special arati in the temple this morning. Our minds pondered with gratitude the gift and presence of the great siddha of Jaffna whose legacy continues on today through our parampara. He said: "Oru Pollapum Illai" "One Evil Thing There is Not!"

The Interfaith Roundtable of Kauai leadership and some members of their congregations visited this morning for a temple tour and to get some inspiration from Satguru Bodhinatha.

Bodhinatha shared about how local Island School students and other groups visit us regularly for tours and to learn a bit about Hinduism, and he told about the recent interfaith panel discussion in Texas. Many good questions were then asked by the group, such as understanding the difference between a religious and spiritual leader.

Sadasivanathaswami's sister Devi Marks and brother Skanda Gibson are visiting their brother at Kauai Aadheenam.
