Sadasivanathaswami reports from India:

Acharya Arumuganathaswami and I are off to the airport, heading back to our island after five days in New Delhi, five productive and exciting days.

As you may know, the India Foundation flew us here to attend their first-ever Soft Power Conference which focused on India's non-military, not-economic influence in the world. For three days, from morning to night, we were regaled with expert presentations on yoga, ayurveda, Bollywood, art, literature, fashion, Sanskrit, food and more.

In between events we were approached by dozens of well-wishers and (importantly) young journalists who we hope to engage in writing for the magazine. they are in their 20s and 30s, eager and competent...basically, our future writers in India.

I gave a 14-minute presentation that was well received. So, two 28-hour flights (to Delhi and back) for 14 minutes of sharing!

We also had a chance to meet with the team that is hoping to print an India edition of Hinduism Today. If that happens, the journey will be well worth it.

India is on the threshold of rediscovering her true identity. After 70 years of Independence, there is a sudden urge here to take possession of her spirituality, her history, her amazing culture, to throw off the Colonial definitions and write the narrative herself. It's such a joy to see that spirit rise.

Kauai, here we come!

Our two traveling swamis have reached New Delhi, where they will be presenting at a conference sponsored by the prestigious India Foundation. The topic is India's Soft Power, which means the nation's cultural strengths and gifts to the world, such as ayurveda, yoga, art, cuisine, Bollywood, philosophy, travel, music, dance and such. They met with artist Baani Sekhon who did the artwork for the current Insight on bhakti saints. And also spend some time with Rajiv Malik and his wife, Dolly. The actual conference begins tomorrow.

Satguru Bodhinatha and Shanmuganathaswami visited the Dharma Shakti Ashram on November 23, 2018. This is the birth day of the founder and head guru of the ashram, Guru Prabhu. The ashram has a new building within walking distance of the old ashram. We visited there for the first time.

Satguru Bodhinatha and Shanmuganathaswami have traveled to Singapore and Malaysia. They are visiting members, students and various groups.

Recently Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and Sannyasin Shanmuganathaswami departed for their annual trip to Malaysia and Singapore. We wish them a wonderful trip! Aum Namah Sivaya

After a short time in Boise, Idaho, Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and Sannyasin Shanmuganathaswami flew to Montreal, Canada. While there they spent time with devotees and explored the area on their morning walks.

A short update on Bodhinatha's location and status.

Bodhinatha and Shanmuganathaswami made their way to Denver for a layover before going to Boise, Idaho. After a few days there, the two will travel to Montreal, Vermont, Chicago, Kansas and back to Kauai. You can see all of Satguru's travels, and even join in on their mission, at our travel page
