A compilation video of Himalayan Academy's 2014 Mauritius Innersearch Travel-Study Program. Fifty-two participants from ten nations joined seven monks from Kauai Aadheenam for a two-week study program on the resplendent island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The majority of the program included class days with Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and other monks at our Mauritius Spiritual Park. Some days were spent on outings to various places around the island and on many other fun activities, such as visiting Ganga Talao lake for a Murugan murti installation and traveling to the State House to meet the President of the Republic. July 6 was the Spiritual Park’s monthly Ganesha Homa, attended by thousands of people, and the following week participants observed Guru Purnima festivities.

His Holiness Sri La Sri Arunagirinatha Sri Desikar Paramacharya Swamigal, Aadheenakarthar and 292nd Guru Mahasannidhanam of Madurai Aadheenam, in India visited the Spiritual Park on Saturday 26th July morning. It is said that the Madurai Aadheenam is the oldest saivite mutt of India, established over 1500 years ago, and and some believe it has even existed before the time of the saivite child saint Tirugnana Sambandar.

A collection from this month's Ganesha homa in Mauritius. Satguru Bodhinatha, six monks and all of the 2014 Innersearch participants were there to attend. An estimated 8,000 came through the spiritual park that day. Our Guest priests performed the homa while Sadasivanathaswami burned the many thousands of prayers, dumping them into buckets of ghee and piling them upon the fire. As usual, there were so many prayers that the fire burned for the next two days! After the homa, everyone walked to the new peace pole for its unveiling.

Also, the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation came recently to the Spiritual Park to film our SSC sishyas singing some Natchintanai for an upcoming television special to commemorate Satguru Yogaswami's 50th Mahasamadhi anniversary.
