Ganapati Kulam Morning Meeting

Om Namah Shivaya

As we know, the monastery's monastics all serve in varied kulams during their hours of daily seva. Beginning at 8am on each day of their week, the Ganapati Kulam has a meeting to plan their day and discuss their many projects. This is the kulam that is responsible for both print and digital publishing, including Hinduism Today magazine and our books, websites, apps, etc. Many of them also help with pujas, cooking, care for our agricultural lands, and a variety of other projects. Today's meeting included some special guests. We had Vasanthakumari, who is here from Malaysia and Valli Anand who lives on the island. Both do exemplary seva here at the temple each day. Rajkumar (who took these photos) also attended. Aum.

Such a lovely positive place just to be..

Feeling grateful to have had a chance to attend one of those morning meetings.

The affirmation is the powerful way to begin the meeting. Brings everyone on same page united towards Satguru’s mission .

    Jai Ganesha!
Thank you Satguru Bodhinatha, all the Swamis, Monks, Kulamatas, volunteers, contributors, those who built the Temple, those who work to improve the temple garden and all the work at Iraivan Temple. Thanks also to the Miners for the Crystal Sivalingam, Sri Mahalingeswara, who is the breath of each and every human being on earth. Despite all the changes/challenges in the world, those at the Monastery serve Lord Siva, whose benefits are for all on earth and beyond.
At Lord Ganesha’s call was at MTNA on Monday, May 26, at 6 pm, for Sankatahara Chathurthi. There were about 60 people in attendance and Lord Ganesha got gallons of milk and was adored by devotees and great to see so many devotees. The Cafeteria was open for a good feast after prayers. The old times are returning slowly!
    Aum Namasivaya!
    Sivayanama Aum!
