This is a great photo of the San Marga Swayambhu Siva Lingam (self-born Mark of God). It was in 1975 that Gurudeva received a vision from Lord Siva, called his monks to gather and meet at the highway and, with a machete and bulldozer behind him, he himself worked his way through the jungle until he found the rocks which he had seen in the vision…. the place where Lord Siva had sat and showed him the future of the land, with devotees wandering the meadows down to the river. Since that day the outdoor shrine has been preserved and daily puja is done in the morning. It is a place of Maha Shanti, Great Peace.
