~~~~~~~~~~~ END OF PHASE
Today is the last day of our phase.
This edition of TAKA will remain posted
over our coming two-day retreat,
until Navami Tithi, Sun One, Wednesday, April 25th.
Another beautiful day!
Here is a large perfectly exquisite pure white anthurium nestled on the hillside near the lotus ponds.
Many of the rare plants at Kauai Aadheenam are from Sri Dhar’s collection (see the slide show for information)
Palaniswami writes: “In 1995 Gurudeva and Palaniswami visited the home of one of India’s leading industrialists, Shri Dhar. In the following years, Shri Dhar began to trade plants with the monastery. This was the first time Palaniswami visited one of Shri Dhar’s several private gardens, guided personally by him and his wife, Pathma. Yogi Jivanandanatha took this brief video as we began the tour in the devastating summer heat.”
