What Happened Today at the Monastery?

It is a quiet day at the Aadheenam. Bodhinatha is editing today on the new book telling the story of our Parampara…

We also got 200 “Mock Orange” trees which will be used to create a very dense hedge around the Rudraksha forest in the future, shielding the view from the road and replacing the metal fencing, eventually.

For Inspired Talk Audio fans… a new talk is posted today…

Kanagasabai and Lakshimi Puvanendran, from the United Kingdom, returned today to continue their pilgrimage with their children, Aishaini, Kalaiyashni, Umashni and their niece, Nathikka.

It was Ardra nakshatra this morning so they enjoyed being here during this special time to witness the abhishegam of Lord Nataraja.

Then it was off to Muruga Hill where they sang a song to Muruga and then to the Swayambhu Lingam for worship and another song.

A visit to our pasture was also in this morning’s itinerary. Meeting Chathurthi…

and her daughter, Anuradha.

The children enjoyed feeding Anu grass. And Anu enjoyed being fed for a change.

Trying some Acerola berries… Wow that’s sour, but sooo good!

Banana trees don’t grow in the UK so it was something to look at over here.
