The monks had a homa this morning. Satguru Bodhinatha did not attent, still resting up from his trip to Canada. Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami filled in, burning prayers and giving a short talk about current monastery projects and about virtues, specifically the virtue of being on time, which Bodhinatha observed as being a form of respect for the meetings, people and events one is involved with.

The Homa fire in Kadavul Temple is such a deeply spiritual service. If you have plans to visit Kauai, I recommend timing your visit to include this.
