Time for Tempeh
Natyam Dayanatha opens his first batch of tempeh and it is a success! Here at the aadheenam we try to be self-sufficient and produce everything we possibly can on our own. In this spirit, Dayanatha has singlehandedly made tofu, soy milk and now tempeh to his ever growing list of home-made awesome foods. Thanks Natyam!

Tempeh is an outstanding food!
Try this recipe:
1. Cube the tempeh into 1″ squares.
2. In a pan of heated oil, sautee some chopped leeks and bell pepper.
3. Add the tempeh.
4. Season with tamari to taste.
High energy dish. Goes great with green beans and chard.
Enjoy!

Amazed what our monks do at this Temple. It is a good protein dish for all vegetarian.
