Innersearch Staff Visits the Spiritual Park in Mauritius
After the long flight to Mauritius, which included the added experience of losing our luggage (we just got it back today), the monks checked into the Jalsa Beach Hotel for their stay on the island. The hotel will be where the Innersearchers stay and where we will have many of our meals together.
Yesterday, six of our monastic staff took a short visit to the spiritual park. Four of us had never before seen the park and this was a chance to get well familiar, while also making preparations for our Innersearch class days which will be held there. Five kulapatis gave us a tour. Manon, Mougam, Rajen, Kulagan and Souria Kumaren showed us around the grounds and discussed the preparations being made there.
Upon entering the grounds, one immediately feels a soothing, natural shakti. It is much like walking into a temple. Everything feels holy, from the windy trees and well-trod earth, to the shaded stones and sacred Murtis. To the monks, it feels like home. The park reverberates with the power of our lineage. It is awash with the bountiful blessings of our gurus and Gods.
After a visit to the river and blessings from Panchmukha Ganapti Himself, the group visited the Dharmasala, where monks have previously stayed for years at a time. It was a good chance to have a short but powerful meditation together before moving on the the Mini Mela. Once again, a familiar vibration. Selna runs the Mini Mela here, and she has been pivotal in organizing the Hinduism Today Event.
