It’s a quiet day at the Aadheenam on the outside. No guests, little wind, monks focused on their work, a cloudy sky, peace everywhere around us.

At lunch today the Ekadanta Kulam shared news of their activities. Saravananathaswami has been working on course outlines for sishyas preparing for initiations and membership. He has also been active in working out details for accommodations and programs for Bodhinatha’s up-and-coming travel to Atlanta, Bethesda, Maryland at the end of May and first of June. Then to Western Canada, Edmonton and Vancouver, mid-June, then to Eastern Canada, Toronto-Montreal in mid August and then to Malaysia, Singapore and Mauritius for Ganesha Chaturthi in September. And there is a new invitation from a temple in Cincinnati, Ohio. Satguru is on the move this year!

At home the final 48 hours of Hinduism Today July-September-0ctober has our publication team well focused. The temple site foundation is being cleared and made ready for the arrival of more container’s of finished stones shortly. Things are warming up and flowers are blooming everywhere!

Since we have no photos of any events at the Aadheenam today… we bring you a series of photos, without captions, mostly from Tanjavur, from the camera of Shankar Nathan.

Oh, and one last thing before we leave for India today. We have instituted a new heavy duty filter for incoming email to try to reduce the onslaught of spam into our mail boxes. If any of you are trying to email any of the monks and get a bounced message back, please print it and fax to 808-822-4351 or just call us and let us know on the phone…

Color Trilogy Complete!
We are happy to announce that the new edition of the enormously popular Dancing with Siva is now available in hard back with all new color artwork. It’s truly an amazing and beautiful work, with more art than any of the collection. This completes the fulfillment of the vision that Gurudeva had of his Master Course Trilogy being produced in full color. In addition, Bodhinatha is taking pro-active steps to bring Gurudeva’s teachings out in a new forms that can be broadly disseminated in the mass mind. With this in mind we, are also pleased to announce that the Dancing with Siva pocketbook is also available. Keep the three-pound book in your shrine room, and take the little one with you on the airplane or subway! How little? It’s just 3″ by 4.5″ — truly pocket-sized, and just over half an inch thick. Yet it is a full 375 pages, containing ALL of the 155 sutras. Available now at our online store. The complete Trilogy is being offered at a discount.
