Gurudeva’s Statement on Sept. 11th

More Gurudeva Tributes and Testimonies:

==============
Sent in October while Gurudeva was still fasting:

“When we got to know about Gurudeva’s decision, it was like a dream because I just couldn’t seem to digest it. All I could do is cry so much, I used to wake up in the middle of the night, and cry myself to sleep. Even untill a few days back it all seemed like a dream. But, later when I realized that Gurudeva is merely leaving his physical body, but he will still be with us all the time, I collected myself, and felt much better after that. I used to thank Ganesha for showing the way to me to be so fortunate to be Gurudeva’s sishya compared to any other guru in the world. He has got a personal touch with each of us. Yesterday, after the special satsanga (which we have been having since the day we got the news), we came back, and I was thinking of Gurudeva when I fell asleep. I couldn’t recall much of the dream I had, but, the entire dream was with Gurudeva. I can just remember a part of it very clearly, that was, my family and me were having lunch/dinner/breakfast with gurudeva, right in my house, on our dining table. No one was speaking, and I can’t remember hearing anything from Gurudeva, but, everyone was busy eating on the same table. The dining table is in our kitchen, and normally the kitchen is quite shady because our kitchen is long and the windows are at the back. But in the dream, the kitchen was so very bright, and surprisingly, the light was coming from the windows, and the light was blindingly bright…in fact, the windows were situated at the back of Gurudeva, and the bright light which was silhoutting him….I was feeling really good because at least I got to eat with Gurudeva even if I don’t get to see him…”

Bodhinatha has been working hard and slowly turning over many of his administrative duties to the other swamis, so that he can be free to turn his attention to the larger duties of being the Aadheenam Kartar. All is well at the Aadheenam and the transition from Gurudeva to Bodhinatha has been seamless. We all feel Gurudeva’s presence within ourselves and also in Bodhinatha. Gurudeva’s “spiritual force” seems to be pushing things along on the inside in a very powerful way. And he said he would be able to help us even better in many ways from the inside. Those who tune into his inner presence all share a similar testimony that Gurudeva is “in a joyful space.”

Our pilgrims from California, the Patel sisters are joined by their cousin Barathy who flew to Kauai today. Here they are with Shanmugam Sthapati at the temple site.

One of the lovely parts of a complete tour of San Marga is to go for a walk on the secluded path of the Saiva Saints. Here we have a giant Narmada Sivalingam which can be worshipped in the open.

The young ladies make their offereings.

The path of the Saiva Saints is cut off from view from the rest of the property, surrounded by trees and gives one the feeling being in a wonderland. Gurudeva envisioned pilgrims performing silent walking sadhana on the path, reflecting on their lives and the lives of the saints. It is certainly a perfect space for leaving the world behind and spiritual rejuvenation.

Another botanical wonder.

The final series of pictures from Jayanthi Celebrations in Bangalore:

Paramguru Siva Yogaswami’s Nachintanai being sung by the silpis.

C. Loges, a local from Karnataka, trained at Iraivan
worksite sings a song in Tamil in praise of Gurudeva which he prepared within a
few hours. He is very dedicated to Gurudeva. He also drives the forklift at
our site.

This is silpi, V. Chelliah who was a helper 10 years ago at our worksite, now an experianced ornamental carver! Our worksite has trained several such silpis. Here, Chelliah is sharing his experiance working in Gurudeva’s worksite. He said that he is now a vegetaraian, well versed in pujas and mantras, taken a brahmachariya vow and he is really indebted to Gurudeva for his career progress and as well as spiritual upliftment.

Here is CT Kanna who also affirms that he has become a vegetarian now, has taken brahmachariya vow and feels happy working for Gurudeva. He is also a trained ornamental carver. All this was possible because he is working for Gurudeva. In other worksites such opportunities are given only to a selected few.

Here is PR Supramaniam, trained as a blacksmith at our worksite. He is good at writing scripts for drama and poems. He drafted a poem in praise of Gurudeva and read out to the guests and the silpis. A very inspirng poem indeed. Sheela’s mother as so impressed with the poem that she wanted a copy. Such talents are not exposed or brought out at other worksites because the silpi’s duty is only to chip, chip and chip.

The silpis enjoying the poem written by PR Supramaniam.

Here is Jiva placing a shawl for our guest, Mr. Venkatakrishnan.

Here is Kanmani Rajasankara standing with Mrs. Sheela Venkatakrishnan after garlanding her.

Here is Jiva showing some of the 4 pictures of Gurudeva which were given to the guests as gifts. The mother really appreciated the photos and said, “I had requested my daugther to get me a photo of Gurudeva and here the photos of Gurudeva comes to me on this special occasion.”

The guests holding the photos of Gurudeva for TAKA with all smiles on their faces.

Here is Mr. Venkatakrishnan sharing his experiences with Gurudeva on the Innersearch.

A panchaloka lingam was given as a gift to Mr. Venkatakrishnan. He was extremely happy to receive this gift.

Here is Mrs. Sheela Venkatakrishnan sharing her experiences with Gurudeva on the Innersearch. She also praised the silpis for the wonderful work that they are doing. She also said that everyday, Gurudeva used to praise and talk about the Bangalore worksite where Iraivan is manifesting.

Here is our Mushi, standing beside Gurudeva’s tiruvadi. He never misses the morning pujas and attends all functions without fail. He sits quitely and is never a problem to anyone.
