தநததி முகததனை

தந்தி முகத்தனைச் சங்கரன் மைந்தனைத்
தொந்தி வயிறனைத் தோடணி செவியனை
இந்திர னுக்கரு ளீந்த இறைவனை
மந்திர ரூபனை நான்மற வேனே

Transliteration

thanthi mugathanai sangaran mainthanai
thonthi vayiranai thohdani seviyanai
inthiranukk aruleentha iraivanai
manthira roopanai naan maraveyney

Translation

with tusk - He who has the face - Sankara’s - He who is the son
pot bellied - He who has a tummy - with earstuds - He whose has ears
to Indra - granted grace - He who is the God
mantra - He who has the form - I - will not forget indeed.
