The January News Video covers events from December, 2017, at Kauai's Hindu Monastery. Events included: Moksha Ritau, During the first two weeks of December, the monks observed Sadhu Paksha. This is a time when our morning group worship and meditation is suspended in order to perform personal sadhana apart from the group; Greenhouse extension progress and we cover our celebration of the Hindu holiday Pancha Ganapati. Pancha Ganapati fulfills the need for Western Hindus to have a Christmas equivalent and embraces harmony between family, friends and work environments. Aum Namasivaya!
