Monastic Order - Religion of the Now

Bodhinatha shared with visitors in the temple an overview by Gurudeva of the monastic order and its mission. He also spoke of how Hinduism is more centered in the now than most religions, which are more about a certain history, about a person and events in the past, and also about a future. Being in the present, in the eternal now, is important in Hinduism and in Gurudeva's teachings. The Hindu thinks about being in his spiritual consciousness right now. This is the essence of Hinduism, to keep going deeper and deeper into our inner consciousness.

The causal plane is the abode of Lord Siva and His entourage of Mahadevas and other highly evolved souls who exist in their own self-effulgent form--radiant bodies of centillions of quantum light particles.
