Mistakes are not problems

Cybertalk: Gurudeva said, "Problems are not problems. A problem is a repetition of the past that needs to be adjusted." It means that when we make a mistake, we think that we shouldn't have done what we did; it would be better if it didn't happen. Gurudeva didn't look at it that way. What needs to be adjusted? Our understanding, knowledge, wisdom. Teach children not to repeat a mistake. Okay to make a mistake once, but what's the point of repeating it? Teach when young, and they will think that when they are older. Goal is a self-correcting mechanism.
