இன்னதன்மை என்றுநமை எடுத்துச்சொல்வா ருண்டோ
என்னபய மெங்களுக்கு எல்லாஞ்சிவ மன்றோ

அவனன்றி யோரணுவு மசையாதெனப் பெரியோர்
அன்றுசொன்ன நிறைமொழியை மறப்பதுவுஞ் சரியோ

அங்கிங்கெ னாதபடி யெங்குஞ்சிவ மென்று
அறிந்தடங்கி யகிலத்திலே வாழ்வதுவே நன்று

காணுங்கண்ணிற் கலந்தகண்ணே என்னுஞ்சிவ தொண்டர்
கருத்தைக்கண்டு வருத்தமற்று வாழ்தல்சிவ தொண்டு

அனைத்துமொன்றா யிருக்குதென வறிந்தபெரி யோகள்
அடியிணையை முடிதனிலே அணிந்து கொண்டேன் சிறியேன்

O elder brothers - O younger brothers - O grandmothers - listen
wonderous - God - we - know that and - live

such is - (our) nature - thus - to us - explain and - those that say - are there?
what - fear - for us - all - Sivam - are not?

without Him - one - atom also - cannot move, thus say - sages
then - said - whole - words - to even forget - is it right?

thither - hither thus thinking - everywhere - Sivam - thus
to know and to be calm - in the world - to live indeed - is good

seeing - in the eye - mixed with - O Eye - thus saying - Siva's servitors
meaning - see and - sorrow - without - living - service to Siva

everything - is One - to be, thus - knowing - great persons
the pair of Feet - on the crown of my head - worn - I have - little me
