Gurudeva explains that cyberspace is a wonderful experience, merging our mind with his. He tells us about the temples that he has fostered and is supporting, including training of priests, in places such as Fiji. Gurudeva talks about the big flood around the Lord Subramaniam temple in Nandi town, Fiji. Six feet of water came through the entire town on January 18th, 1999, early morning, leaving behind a foot and a half of silt and a big clean up project. He suggests you send messages of support and condolence to the Hindus there.

Today at Kauai Aadheenam, January 22nd.

Our month is almost over and hello, hello. Aloha to each and everyone in cyberspace. Being in cyberspace is a wonderful experience because it is a blending of minds, it is a melting of minds. Mine with yours and yours with mine.

We just talked to Fiji today. Fiji is a group of islands in the South Pacific where we have built a beautiful temple to Lord Muruga. Ten thousand people celebrate at Thai Pusam time, but maybe not this Thai Pusam because there is a big flood. Six feet of water, leaving a foot and a half of silt covering the temple grounds and all the shops and the priest quarters. We are calling the priest who we trained here at Kauai Aadheenam for the purpose of being the head priest of that beautiful temple.

What we do here at Kauai Aadheenam is establish temples here and there and everywhere in the world. We have put in temples in Denmark. We are just starting one now in New Zealand, one in Alaska, another one in Salt Lake City, Denver, Colorado, Scottsdale, Arizona, Seattle, Washington. Just to name a few. This is what an Aadheenam does. It is traditional to give the blessings for the temple to be built. This beautiful temple in Fiji really needs your help, financially and moral support. You can write a letter. Send it to me here, and we will forward it on to Fiji. Use the little question box to write some consoling letters to the Board of Directors and to the priests. They will really appreciate your taking an interest in their temple and their plight right now.
