Caring for a Dying Dog


An e-devotee in Arizona asks about the proper way to care for an elderly dog. Gurudeva answers that a domesticated dog which has been in the family for a long time should be treated as a family member. Gurudeva advises not to "put the dog to sleep" as a way to "help with the pain."

There is another way to show remorse for misdeeds. That is by performing seva, religious service, for persons you have wronged. Give them gifts, cook them food.
