Pada hari yang istimewa ini, kita bersujud atau bertiarap di hadapan ibu bapa kita untuk memohon restu dan menunjukkan kasih sayang kita terhadap mereka. Kita memberi penghormatan yang tinggi kepada semua orang yang lebih tua daripada kita. Kita juga menerima hadiah daripada mereka.§
