This jñānī is lifting his hands in worshipful awareness of Śiva within him and beyond. His contemplation is on the formless Paraśiva, represented by the dark Śivaliṅgas on the left, and Śiva in form as Maheśvara and Satchidānanda, represented by the lighter Liṅgas on the right.§
