The artist places us creatively behind Śiva Naṭarāja so we can see the adoration on the faces of a man and wife worshiping their beloved Lord. They have finished their morning pūjā, draped a flower garland around the bronze mūrti’s shoulders and drawn a simple kolam with holy ash.§
