Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami reads his editorial from the April/May/June 2015 edition of Hinduism Today magazine. "Hindu views of God can seem complex and confounding on first encounter. In this edition Bodhinatha explores four different ways of describing God. The most common perception is to identify God as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (God of creation, preservation and destruction). Bodhinatha refers to the Scriptures, namely the Puranas and Agamas and highlights that ultimately all practices refer to only one Supreme God and this is echoed in the texts as "Truth is one and Sages use several names to describe the ultimate Truth.
