Superconscious Soul Power

Today Gurudeva describes the morning fire puja in honor of his guru, Sivayogaswami of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, and the reopening of the Saiva Siddhanta Church of Sri Lanka. He asks all Sri Lankan devotees of Yogaswami to communicate with him. Dr. Mehta, the world's expert in concrete and a great Siva bhaktar has arrived on Kauai to help with the Iraivan temple foundation slab. All the gurus of this lineage, he says, were driven by soul power, not the instinct or emotions. Tap into your superconscious soul power.

Unedited Transcript:

Today at Kauai Aadheenam, March 27th.

Here we are. We had a beautiful fire puja. You have probably seen some of the pictures on it. You can enjoy it with us. It is really, really nice because the Mahasamadhi of my Satguru Yogaswami, is today. We also celebrated this day by re-opening Saiva Siddhanta Church of Sri Lanka. The Church closed in Sri Lanka when the war came up. Now, reopened today and we are clearing up all our property in certain areas and cleaning it up. It has been bombed and practically destroyed but that is alright. We will rebuild. We are opening our two small Siva temples there, and we have hired a Brahmin priest. Lots of good things are happening. So if you are a Sri Lankan devotee of Gurudeva's, or Yogaswami's, communicate with us. Go right to that little question box and send us your name and address, and we'll be happy to send you some pictures and beautiful literature from Kauai Aadheenam and some copies of 'Hinduism Today'.

Well, today here at Kauai Aadheenam, we have had a wonderful guest, Dr. Mehta. He is the world's expert in concrete. He is also a Siva devotee, which is really wonderful. Siva sent him to get the proper concrete mix for a concrete foundation for the Iraivan temple, that will last a thousand years or more. He mentioned that concrete for dams, this is kind of scary, is only planned to last fifty or sixty years. So, better not build your house underneath one of these big dams. You never know what might happen, fifty or sixty years from the time it started!

We had several other beautiful guests today too. It is wonderful seeing these beautiful people, pilgrimaging to Kauai Aadheenam. You are making a pilgrimage too, in your mind, in cyberspace.

This morning, I was talking to everybody about being driven by soul power. All the gurus in our line of gurus have been teaching one another to be driven by the soul. What does that mean? Driven by the soul means that, we are not driven by the intellect. We are not driven by the instinct. We are not driven by the emotions. We are driven by the soul. That is the great vahana that moves us, the soul power. We have to listen inside very carefully. We have to listen and to know, what is to be done next. That is spirituality. It is to be driven by the energy of the soul, not the energy of the intellect, not the energy of the instinctive mind.

The soul is superconscious. It sees in all six directions simultaneously. That is looking front, looking back and to each side.

We are very, very happy that you have tuned into our Cyberspace Ashram. We want you to have a wonderful day tomorrow. Try soul power, which supercedes physical power, intellectual power, emotional power, instinctive power.

You are a beautiful soul, living in a physical body, can travel astrally in your astral body when the physical body is asleep. You have an intellect which is a tool. You have emotions which you can use and control. The soul, from our way of looking at it, is that which incarnates life after life after life after life, and matures. That means, it keeps growing bigger and bigger. It is made out of quantums of shining light. That is the real you, inside your physical body. You have to accept that as a fact, and then discover it for yourself.

We will be back again tomorrow. Aum Namah Sivaya.

Giving is an essential for spiritual unfoldment, for until we give and give abundantly, we don't really realize that we are not the giver; we are just a channel for giving.
