Ganesha Chaturthi 2012

Ganesha Chaturthi and Visarjana, festivals held in grand style by Hindus around the world, were performed at Kauai's Hindu Monastery on September 18, 2012, with an elaborate puja in Kadavul Temple, blessing hand-made clay images of the elephant God, which were then paraded to the Nani Kaua Pond for immersion, symbolizing His departure into pure consciousness.
