In April, 2014, our reporter, Rajiv Malik, explored several of the 8th through 12th of Central Java, home of Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms at that time. Near the end of the slide show we switch to a modern day temple. In August, 2014, two of our editors attended the momentous opening of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville, New Jersey, precursor to the organization's largest-ever Akshardham facility that is now being built there.
