Today at Kauai Aadheenam

Kulapati Sivakumaren is here from Mauritius. His wife and daughters are taking a long vacation here with their grand parents and Sivakumaren just dropped by on his way to New York. He will be back on the 11th.

Gaurang and Darshana Nanavaty visited today. They are both acharyas (teachers) of the Chinmaya Mission, Houston, having completed in 1979 the first 2 and 1/2 year acharya training program held in Percy, California. Both are today instrumental in the Mission’s highly successful youth teaching programs. They attended puja, visited the temple and met with Paramacharya Palaniswami and the Acharya Arumugaswami. Arumugaswami inquired as to the details of their class programs and teacher’s training methods and then shared with them our materials on Hindu history, yama/niyamas and other resources of mutual interest.
